Show fewer projects, better

Someone evaluating you for a specific commission should be able to find relevant work quickly. Update the selection as you complete stronger projects rather than letting it grow endlessly.

Let each project tell its story

A single hero image rarely does a building or interior justice. Give each project its own space and walk the visitor through it, from concept and site to development and finished result, using large, well-sequenced imagery. A short, honest description of the brief and how you solved it turns a gallery into a case study, which is what convinces a client you can handle the thinking as well as the aesthetics. Design for calm and clarity

Architecture sites work best when the interface almost disappears. Generous spacing, a disciplined type system and navigation that stays out of the way let the projects lead. There is no need for ornament that does not serve the work, on a page any more than in a building. A quiet, confident layout reads as maturity. A busy one, full of effects and competing elements, undercuts the very qualities a design practice is trying to project.

Keep image-heavy pages fast

Large renders and photography are the point of the site and also its biggest performance risk. Serving properly compressed, modern-format images with lazy loading keeps pages sharp without making people wait, and waiting is where visitors are lost. Since Google indexes and ranks primarily on the mobile version of a site, a portfolio that is slow or awkward on a phone loses both audience and search visibility. Performance is part of the craft here, not an afterthought.

Tell people who you are and how to begin

Clients are choosing a team as much as a portfolio, so a genuine studio page matters: your approach, your philosophy, the people behind the work. Pair that with a clear, low-friction way to make contact, visible across the site rather than tucked away.
